Palace Theatre Manchester

After touring across the country, Anthony Williams’ glittering new production of international smash-hit Legally Blonde the Musical struts its stuff into Manchester’s Palace Theatre. Playing a limited week of performances, the much-loved musical follows the story of the iconic, pink-clad Elle Woods as she learns to believe in herself!

Adapted from Amanda Brown’s novel and the well-known 2001 romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon, the story follows sorority president turned lawyer. As Elle prepares for a proposal from her boyfriend, Warner Huntington III, her hopes are dashed when the evening takes an unexpected turn. Forced to rally her spirits, Elle is determined to do what she can to get back her man.

The ultimate story of friendship, the power of believing in yourself and true love, Legally Blonde the Musical features a sassy score, including mega-hits “Omigod You Guys”, “So Much Better” and “Bend and Snap”.

Lucie Jones stars as Elle Woods, after representing the country in Eurovision and appearing in UK tours of The Wedding Singer and Rent. Further casting includes EastEnders’ Rita Simons and Emmerdale’s Bill Ward as Paulette and Professor Callahan, with direction and choreography from Anthony Williams (Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray). A vibrant, colourful musical packed full of girl-power, Legally Blonde is guaranteed to lift your spirits and instil some self-love!

The majority of the Stalls falls under this price, as seats offer good views, due to a decent rake in the seating. It is recommended to sit as centrally as possible. Those who want to feel fully immersed should sit toward the front.

Most of the Circle is this price, as good views can be achieved throughout. It is recommended to sit as centrally as possible. Legroom is limited and those wanting extra space should select an aisle seat.

Not available.

Rows S-T and seats at the ends of rows K-R are this price, as they are slightly restricted view, due to the Circle overhang and side-angled views of the stage. Seats at this price are in rows L-O. The Grand Tier overhang may only slightly affect the view, giving a letterbox effect. Legroom is very limited. The centre of rows B-H are this price, as they offer the best views in the section. You can see the entire stage, although it may feel distant and legroom is limited.

Rows U-V are this price, as they are affected by the Circle overhang. Legroom may seem limited and it’s worth sitting further forward for only slightly more money. Rows P-Q fall under this price, as they may be obstructed by the Grand Tier overhang and there is limited legroom. Sit as centrally as possible. Most seats in the Grand Tier are this price, toward the ends of every row and in rows J-K. These seats are mildly restricted view, but can be good for a bargain. Legroom is limited.

Seats in rows V-W are this price, as they are severely affected by the Circle overhang, which gives a letterbox effect. Seats at either ends of rows Q-R are this price, as there is limited legroom and the view may be affected by the Grand Tier overhang. Rows L-O are this price, as they are at the rear of the theatre. The stage is distant and the theatre ceiling may be obstructive. There is limited legroom.
