I could not be more thrilled to be making my Broadway debut in my favorite show in the role of a lifetime. This is truly a dream come true! I grew up in South Carolina and have always loved Broadway shows but didn’t know how I was going to get here. Thanks to MTV’s “Search for Elle Woods” (and my dad for driving me to the Nashville auditions), I get to do what I was born to do for all of you. Some of my favorite roles that I have performed are: Seussical (Gertrude McFuzz), Bye Bye Birdie (Kim McAfee), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Philia), Gypsy (Baby June). I also had the unique experience of singing The National Anthem at a National Democratic Fundraiser for President Bill Clinton in 2000. I’d like to thank my amazing parents for their constant love and support and for believing in me.
